Last week, we had our 1st TB; we stayed in a big house, overseeing camotes island. Our volunteer cook seated beside me and introduced me to Camotes Island!

It was an amazing day for me! I saw the island and the next day after, someone introduced me to Camotes Island Camping Site! I checked on it and I was amazed by its beauty! Look!

Kindly disregard the place on the photos, that’s not taken in Cebu; that’s in Camotes Island. That island is a real myst. I have been to Siquijor and I wasn’t impressed by their beaches. Camotes astound me!
Just by looking at their sea waters; its colors and its cleanliness made me feel 100% fully charged! The silence was enough, the birds tweeting at night, even the rainfalls. Helping out in the kitchen always made me feel helpful.

We did not buy fishes and porks, and that’s something that must be done next visit. We do not know about the place and they’re available resources. Now that we know how far the beaches are from the port, we must buy those ingredients and raw foods before heading out to our hostels.
We ended up eating noodles the whole night, which was very very good already. We shared and we cooked, we laughed at ourselves, we took photos of ourselves; it was like a solo trip and meeting your acquaintance from Cebu.

Thankfully, the place had all the utensils and cooking ware; luckily, I brought a butane with me, a small canister that requires a “lighter” to light it up. I did not know how to use it at first, and that travel helped me discover things and learn new ideas.
Travelling really takes you out of your comfort zone. You’ll develop courage to ask questions and deal with strangers. Going out with complete strangers and serving them makes me feel useful and it’s a fulfilling feeling. To be there when someone is scared at night, to be listening to their request and to do things for others; it felt good to serve. I really enjoyed it.
During our Team building in Catmon, I also served and it was very fulfilling. Cleaning the dishes, the floors and head counting. It’s something different. There’s a since of fulfillment in doing things for everyone’s sake. I’m maybe too shy to accept, but it’s the truth. Others think of me as selfish because I can stand on my own and I’d rather be alone than serving the ungrateful.
Our team was happy and thankful to have us around; they value our little help and it was all successful. That team building was one of the best! As much as I’d like to share more here, I’m only going to show a beautiful photo of the place where we stayed in Catmon.

It’s the best! There’s more inside, they’re storytelling. Horror stuffs, things like that. If you couldn’t find me, I was probably taking photos or sleeping. I had a beautiful night stargazing, as usual (my favorite things to do at night, to connect with the stars, hoping to see one falling, for me. Haha.
I will end up sleeping and then waking up to eat. Haha. They’re all good I’m cooking and it was very well organized. I’m so impressed! It’s also my first time to feel cared and so surprised by so many gifts, chocolates, trivia’s, engaging games; never felt being left unattended or unheard.
I even had my period and I was a little shy to let them know the reason why I need to leave the place that night to buy something. But they found ways and figured it out; applying our good questioning skills. I ended up being well attended and personally understood.
Just to flex, someone stood up for me today, while someone was raising his voice against me as he always does. It was the most powerful thing they did to me and I was so relieved. Personal things no one in my childhood had ever done. Feeling empowered was amazing.
