There’s a lot going on this year, from high lows, low highs; yet I managed to keep myself sane. Beginning of the year when I felt bullied for being an adventurer, along with someone who’s kind enough to accompany me, goal achieved and we had fun trekking and talking.
I have achieved so much goals and the bullies never stopped searching for something they can talk about; but despite all the challenges, I remained resilient. It inspires me even more to keep doing what I’m doing because I’m always winning in the end, despite the storms.
It was quite an achievement to finish 21k run this year; most especially that it’s the first ever waterfront to waterfront fun run in history; Feb. 11, 2024 was the best day ever! A dream came true. I have camped for two nights at Mt. Manunggal, savoring the natural coldness of the place, perfect for me.
Just recently, in April 25, 2024, another wish had been granted. Beautiful peers really accompanied me to Starbuks! All unconditional and I felt so blessed. Now for the 3rd time, I was able to trek again @ Mt. Manunggal accompanied by a new found friend whom I can relate to.

Another dream has been achieved and I couldn’t wait to see more of my accomplishments this year. It seems like I’m on the right track and no matter what I do good, it will be accompanied by the other side of the story created by idiots who doesn’t really know the whole story; or by someone who thinks the best of all and yet couldn’t present any proof.
Well, I think it happened to all main characters in all stories I have watched so far. Nothing to worry about, everything will end so well, I just have to keep on going, learning and growing. Triggers will only keep me stronger and more aware of my surroundings. Sometimes it bothered me but most of the time it’s guiding me on what to heal next; instead of running away from people who loves emotionally hurting others with their history.
Being vulnerable is risky but it’s also how you can spot the right people for you. It’s the gateway to know your boundaries. You will only see their true colors once you become honest with them. Well, I ended up my 1st Quarter really good and I get to celebrate one thing with the best people in that one circle, what a blessing!
On my 3rd trek, I learned the other way of trekking! It’s kinda weird and it can only be applied if you’re trekking in a nice road; I mean it’s not right to walk backwards in a Forrest trail full of rocks and woods. So yes! I think you know what I mean.
This place will always be my best place to camp and connect.

It was an hour and thirty minutes trek from Mt. Manunggal jump off point in Gaas, Balamban. It was hot because we started trekking around 7:30 AM. If you have a private vehicle that can bring you to Gaas earlier, I would suggest you start trekking around 5:30 AM. I want to experience that next time.
We visited the campsite, the crash site, as well the viewing deck. It was around 10 thousand steps, estimated. 1 thousand meters above sea level, also an estimate, haha. I hope I will have a team of mountaineers who can give me accurate information.
