Abandonment

I have been abandoned since the very beginning of time.
I cannot see my mother, so my best friend gave me a mirror.
She told me, look in the mirror, you will see your mother.

My husband is amazing, he can dance, he can cook, he can do a lot of things. He’s a good singer and a good English writer.
He’s a good researcher and a good leader.
He’s a poet and a great teacher. He read a lot of English books, understand it until he became fluent with it.

He reads with understanding, then speak with confidence.
My husband is amazing. He’s so good at everything.
He talked to me fluently in English now.
Even if I am still not good in Korean-English, I am still learning English-Korean.
I am loved in all my ways, even if I am still far away from him.

I am still building up myself, I am still healing from the old me.
I will be growing up with me, I will be happy to see the best of me.
