When in Camotes Island with Secret Travel Mate

This month I went to Camotes Island, full of excitement. My travel buddy that time wanted to be hidden. She doesn’t want others to know that we travelled together. In fact, we booked separate rooms and there was a little bit of a confusion with the booking.

Anyway, we shared food, it was awesome. It wasn’t really that lonely, I had fun with her. She’s scared of Crabs and scared of dark; so I will be on guard when she’s using the bathroom. “Wow! Sounds like a date!” Oh well, nobody forced us to buy fish and pork to cook; we chose “Canned Goods” and “Noodles” instead.

It was our first time travelling together; we cooked food, wash dishes and swim! She was scared of the ocean, it was deep so she stayed in a swimming pool, but took videos and photos of me which I was thankful and grateful for; to compensate the services I have also done for the team.

Anyway, we travelled after work so it’s not unusual to forget things and feel sleepy on our way to Camotes, Island. Although it was raining and my hammock was soaking wet, we had fun anyway. There’s always a reason for everything, at least I have conquered camotes island, and now able to travel on my own.

Look at how pretty the place is, if only I had a boat, Maybe I would really enjoy swimming. It’s a little dangerous because the current is strong, even though the owner disagrees. But the best thing in that place is that they have cooking-wares that we can borrow.

Maybe we’re just not prepared for it but I managed to have fun anyway. I think it’s not about what happen there, but it’s about the lessons we learned from that travel. Fresh food is important. If you’re going together, only one shall book the place. The pool looks nice in photos but we weren’t able to dive into it because it’s salt water, not fresh water.

But the highlights and the reason why I visited the place is to take this sunset and I had the best shot of it! It’s like heaven is kissing the ocean. For me it’s already magical.

What makes a travel enjoying is not the destination, it’s the journey. While on a boat, I really enjoyed observing the different colors of seawater. It has green, blue green and blue! My favorite one is blue green.

It was fine but we could have made it even better. Next time, I will be more than ready. It was a quick escape, and I lost my voice three days after. I wasn’t blaming the whether, it was because I had a flu from the mango float I ate and then I was eating sweets; it’s all unhealthy.

I ended up taking my SL for the first time in history! I hated seeing the doctor because I don’t like being questioned and then getting that fit to work thing; a lot of process. But because of those I experienced using my sick leave. I conquered my fear of doctors! 🤭 But I’m still scared to see my dentist.

I guess that trip made me stronger! I travelled on my own again to Camp Forrest. Next stop would be Bukidnon, Davao, Cagayan, and Baguio (Please Please Please). Baguio is my super bet and I really wanted to fly on a plane alone. I’ll do my research soonest.
