It had been awhile since I’ve been wanting of trekking in this river! I dreamed to see the stairs and turns. I just couldn’t do it alone because I couldn’t find a trusted guide. It’s so hard to trust. My solo guides in Bukidnon were riders and trail runners; this time, in Cebu, he’s a mountaineer! I got so lucky this December 2025! Thank you, Lord, for everything!
That was my 2nd long walks, with 4 uphill climbs! It will make you feel alive and kicking after 8 hours, specially if it’s raining!

Oh, I didn’t pay for it; he doesn’t need the money, I assume. Hahaha. He just want to guide and loves mountaineering so much! It’s like socializing in the mountains sounds so healthy and amazing! He’s been my guide for the 1st two long hikes I’ve had so far, Kang Irag + Spartan Trail + Babag Trail + RCPI and it was perfect!
I have been wanting it for so long and finally achieved it without problems, I just bumped my head many times on trees, hahahaha. Five times maybe, and almost slip and fell unexpectedly in a grassland, not uphill. Luckily, “Master Bien” was quick and he caught me just in time. It was an amazing experience, because I did not fell! Not now that I’m an adult. Last time was in high school while heading to school, “Ouch! That hurts my butt!”
The experience was awesome because we finished the trail on time. If only I didn’t feel like peeing, we would have finished more kilometers trek down the city. We’re already on the road and it’s so hard to find comfort rooms, we have to rush home and get a taxi home instead. I thank the “Master” for being a good listener, guiding me to the challenging routes and clearing it for me to get through, and letting me rest whenever needed.
If you’re a hiker from Cebu, you may have known this back already.

I’m just so thankful and grateful for the kindness, Sir!
Thank you for not cancelling! šÆš„³
I’ll vote for you!
