Google Maps Lead My Way to Suba Beach, Nipa Huts DaanBantayan, Cebu

On my way to Daanbantayan, inside the bus, the driver’s assistant asked, “Regular?” I paused, I did not know what to answer, I thought of other options, ‘maybe he’s talking about air-conditioner? But I’m already inside the normal bus,’ so I asked him, “what are the options?” He did not answer as well, he just quietly issued me the ticket.

He sound strict but when he seated next to me, he’s like a baby boy, a good one. His silence calm me down and I told him, “Please drop me off at Eskina Suba,” he asked the driver if they’re going there. The driver confirmed. I’m not sure why he asked, maybe he’s not sure? Obviously.

To my surprise, I was laughing at the situation; besides, there were other passengers who were supposed to be dropped off somewhere that was not; they ended up walking back to their places. They stepped out from the bus ranting at the driver. The assistant could have signaled the driver to stop; but he didn’t, so that was a confirmation that the assistant was also not aware of the places; experience and familiarity is really powerful.

Well, he did informed the driver, so he did his best. I was careful not to sleep because I will end up back in Cebu city if they will not drop me off at Suba Eskina, in Daanbantayan. So I have to use Google Maps. I learned from the other Passengers who were not dropped off at the right destination. Although, for me, it’s different; the driver remembered and was able to stop his bus real time. Good for me!

So it was indeed a long long ride for me; 4 hours was enough and my desire was granted. I really disired for a long ride on my own. I think one day, I’ll decide to travel for 8 hours as well by bus, from Cebu North to Cebu South, haha.” So I arrived safe, and because I am new to the place, I have to use Google Maps again.

I thought I was lost a little because Google maps said, “Arrived” but I was outside an abandoned house, there was no nipa huts? So asking the locals really helped. I was on the right track, I just did not walk straight to the right direction after arriving at the shore.

The signage was big enough, I just didn’t bother to read. Anyhow, I was able to confirm how it feels like to be abandoned, “based on the old house I saw” compared to the real “Nipa Huts” with Nanay Rosa in it and the locals who taught me where to go; things really happened for a reason.

Because of that I realized something; I can say that “I’m not totally abandoned despite being a member of a broken family, so there’s no reason for drama. I’ve had uncles and unties, I’ve had grandfather’s and grandmother’s; and of course the church. My mother also kept on checking on us and sending us money for food and tuition fees; sending us clothing etc., my cousins were there helping me as well, specially Michael, so what’s the matter?”

So it’s true that the truth will set us free from our false thoughts and lies that we told ourselves to keep us feeling bad about the past. Anyway, this is the truth, I have finally arrived at the place, which for me is the liveliest!

Enjoy the video and watch out for more. Just a quick advise, “If your thought seems cloudy, keep going, find the truth and it will set you free from your negative thoughts. Most of the times, truths are too good to be true!
