Yesterday, I did another 8-13 kilometers trail run with an elevation of 536 meters. The device did not update well, due to signal issues, so the result is not accurate.

The other week, I also did 8km Solo Trail to almost the same area, but I did a backtrail yesterday. I previously thought it would be hard to find the trail doing the backtrail solo, so when I did it, I have proven my thoughts wrong.
I’ve had the best experiences this December 2025 and I’m so thankful and grateful for that “One Person” who showed me the way and supports me with his encouraging words.
While he was guiding me before, he never left me in trail and he’s always leading the way. On the first week of meeting him and doing the first long hike since months ago, he stayed behind me because I was too slow.

I told him my goal and he taught me how to survive, what needs change and what’s working. I must keep going and hit for my goal and give credit to him who have shown me the way and made me feel supported and to the Lord who keep answering my prayers. It just felt so awesome!
He told me not to be scared and that getting lost in finding trails is normal. How will you know if you’re right or wrong if you’re not going to choose, you will be stuck in the middle not knowing what to do and that’s even more aggravating.
In life, we all have to make a choice in order to move on. Make mistakes as fast as we can so we can correct it as fast as we can and accomplish things early rather than not completing anything due to fear and doubts.
Sometimes, you just have to understand the situation and forgive yourself and appreciate it afterwards. This 4th week on trail really had me realized lots of things. It doesn’t only keep me motivated but it changed my perception as well as my perspective.
If others travel to other countries and changed their perspectives, the mountains did the same for me, and it’s for free. It’s also quite healing and so fun! So if you want to travel for free, go for a trail run! Travel on foot instead of planes.

It seems like my wishes and wants keeps happening this December 2025. It didn’t just happened on its own, I made it happen. So if you want something, don’t just pray for it, do it! Pray for support and safety while doing it! That’s where the Lord comes in, to cover and protect you. So don’t be scared in doing things with the Lord in mind.
I have never thought that I would survive the Backtrail yesterday because I had a food poisoning night before. I ate too much food the whole day and I have to vomit it all out which was very disgusting. I had diarrhea and I was weak. I almost think of “Not doing it”. But because I vomited those foods, I was slowly recovering so I pursued my goal. I was a little late and luckily the weather is good that time. Timing is quite important.
I didn’t think of doing the Spartan Backtrail, I thought I’d stop after reaching Pamutan but the situation made me decide to do that thing my mind is so busy scaring me out. They just don’t have change for ₱1,000 so I have to walk and I’ll have to choose a path which will lead me to a store that can provide what I needed (change for Jeepney’s).
Well, spartan trail will lead me to Banawa, Paseo Arcenas; while the other route will lead me to the same kind of store at the mountains, plus there was no uphill climb anymore on that direction, no challenge. So I decided to face the handsome faces of the trailers going up to Pamutan, climb another mountain and rested at the Starbaks until a hiker disturbed my silence (a signal to walk away and move on).

I did have the best rest and the best food before the “Intruder” arrived. Introverts like me don’t entertain personal comments from strangers in person. If you see me thinking deep, just let me be, it’s my fortress. Isn’t it rude to randomly say something personal to anyone you don’t even know their names? I’d rather respect your silence.
Coconut fruit taste so good, oh and I ordered coffee too, and I ended up not consuming it, I remember I still had diarrhea. I thought I was staying ’till evening but I got offended and triggered, so I had to keep going. The other reason why I chose that route was because I wanted to try the other trail which I have not tried yet. The private owners of the place blocked the other trails which I liked because it’s too steep. I need to figure out the other way to avoid future problems. I did it with the help of locals and other hikers going up. Just need to “Ask” for guidance.
Keep your momentum! I finally understand what she meant by momentum, no stopping, just keep going because once you lost the momentum you’ll have to start all over again and you may lost the drive. I mean it’s okay to restart, but it’s much better to not skip, like not skipping a meal? I’m a naturally lazy butt, so I have to keep my momentum to not fall back into my comfort zone.
We needed 11 slots for January 15-17 2026 Mt. Apo (Highest Mountain In the Philippines, located in Davao Land of the President Duterte). I will be joining that date and I’m afraid it will be cancelled of only me got to join? I have already booked my tickets and flights, so if you know of someone who might be interested? Kindly have them visit the organizers FB page: https://www.facebook.com/100086384714180/posts/pfbid02MAnRak3LZgf9br5LeVVhup9oGQoNB2e22oQc8gpDudBfLHdh7pEHdsJjFFBoyD7Bl/?app=fbl
I’ll see you there! 🌄 Happy New Year! By the way, I chose them because a friend at work have been to Mt. Apo Day Hike and that team organizes it. So I am quite confident. I just hope it will push through because I’m almost ready for it! Just one more week and one more training!
