Your purpose & the reason why you’ll do it: Depression & Anxiety Antidote

Triggers could exhaust your mind, specially if you’re overthinking; and I found a better way to handle it. First, you must remind yourself to focus on the “NOW”, so that the past and future which causes your depression and anxiety will be released.

Focusing “NOW,” like at the present moment is kind of hard because it holds a power to shape or change your future; it is that scary specially if you’re not ready for a big change. The good thing is that, it’s totally safe to focus now; it keeps you even safer when you are mindful and alert all the time.

Mindfulness keeps us productive and updated; it helps us connect at the moment, and it helps us even become powerful and energetic. Well, I believe so, that’s what I have observed from people who are present minded.

When you’re present, you become an active listener which helps you become creative. I noticed I am more powerful when I focus one thing at a time, when I’m not thinking of the last too much and just focus on what I can do better next time.

Depression is dwelling in the past; Anxiety is overthinking the “What if” it will happen again; and moving on is accepting what is and simply be in the moment; just being physically, mentally, and emotionally present.

I was recently triggered in all aspects of my life, like it has a domino effect, and it’s triggering my past trauma roughly 9-10 years ago; when someone died- someone close to the family, it was hard for all of us. Everything was affected with that big trigger; seems like I already have PTSD even before I was born.

This anxiety caused me to overthink; a feeling of running away or stopping something that will cause something in the past from happening again; something that will cause me shame and pain that will lead to bullying. It’s hard to focus again when this hits hard.

I have mentioned that focusing at the moment will help you move on but sometimes you’re just undecided and doesn’t know what to do; like a sense of confusion, like time stop for bit and you found yourself wondering if what to do; to entertain the thoughts or move on now.

Moving on now, or focusing at the present moment is hard choice too specially if you have no enough reason “Why” you need to move on. You need to have that strong reason why you must move on and not dwell in the past, just let the past be no matter how painful it was for you.

You must see the difference; the difference between the people you have met before from the once you’re currently seeing; they may look and sound similar, but they’re not totally the same. Acknowledging that difference will set you free from your negative thoughts which your past acquaintances on your past experiences or lives gave you.

Remember to see the difference and know the reason why you chose this “New World.” For me, I really wanted to connect so I climb mountains, I trek, and I travel solo. Solo travelling helped me ask the right questions. When you’re alone, you’ll develop a skill of connecting with the right people; your instinct will also heighten helping you to make a right decision.

May your purpose in life be, to “connect” with the real people. To connect, develop new skills and grow stronger than the person they’ve bullied and pittied. May your reasons be to show them how valuable, deserving and blessed you are!

You deserve a praise not a pity. You deserve real recognition not just a showoff. You deserve heartfelt gratitude not a sarcasm. You deserve loyal, honest and true people; not the jealous who wants to cut you off because they’re intimidated.

You deserve support, not a bash. You deserve genuine invitation, an invitation that makes you feel special, important and valued, not making you feel like “You don’t belong.” Photos are different from realities.
